oooooowwwwww, my feet.

Wearing and standing and running around in high heels for 7 hours straight; taking off said heels in car and rubbing the soles of your feet against the rubber mat to get the circulation going again = bastinado + abrasion....

Well, that's what it feels like...and I've been reading too much slash again to be using these terms. XD

My feet still hurt like a bitch but I'm gradually getting used to it and I'm keeping a better poker face and I don't have to sit down as often (although given a slow hour, I'll be hiding out in the kitchen with an upside down tray on top of the gas cylinder or playing around with the computer system).

Orientation starts Monday til Thursday which means no work but it's more than 8 hours and I have to be dressed Smart Casual and need to bring a change of sports clothes....joy....I want the uniform please? No jeans, no slippers, no shirts.....greeeaaaaat, that rules out half of my closet.


And in some random mention, I accidentally scratched the floor today. O_o oops. A guest dropped the glass cover for the Cheese Platter and I had to sweep it up. The problem is that the floor has inlaid small shiny rocks which makes it really hard to see the smaller shards of glass. And one of those got caught in my heel as I was patrolling and screeee! I look down and much to my horror, there's 2 parallel scratches 3 inches long on the marblesque tile. Shit.
