Slight inebriation
May. 20th, 2007 11:01 pmHmm, I think I spelt that right....well, it's not like it's any different than when I'm 100% sober.
So. Several hours after a tequila with lime and coke and 3/4 of a 2002 chardonnay in a highball glass, I'm STILL lightheaded (although I left as quickly as possibly past security before the effects fully set in; still walking in a straight line) and still slightly nauseaous....but then again, I drank too much wine too fast...wine is meant to be sipped dammit! Either that or I chance getting caught....
An almost hot shower and seveeral continuous sneezing fits later, I feel much better although I still have to sip at water and probably swallow some Panadol before I sleep.
I'm not TOO upset at getting transferred (mainly because I can still sneak back in) but it's kinda sad that I have to move to a different department and undergo more training....I don't mind learn ing new things but it finally felt like I had settled into Magellan Club.
Sigh.
