13thfallenangelSooooooooooo.....all over newspapers and tv news for the past several days; and upcoming weeks is the case of little 8 year old Nurin who went missing when she walked to a nearby night market and is believed to be the dead body in a bag recently found...according to DNA anyways.
How was she killed? Like an episode of Law & Order:SVU or CSI. She had strangulation marks and her rectum torn, and infected.....apparently brutalised with a cucumber and a brinjal.
Ow.
What is worrying is that there has been a recent spate of kidnapped children and people are sincerely hoping this is not a serial killer at work...including me....this is supposed to stick to the movies and tellys, not real life. Unfortunately, it does happen. I once read in the papers about a young boy who was accosted, then had a stick shoved up his anus and he died from the blood loss......they caught the guy at least.
My 2 other colleagues and I watched the funeral recording on the 8 o'clock news. It was really sad; I mean, death with children usually are, but this was so damn brutal! The Imam was crying as he lead the prayers.....and he's probably done funerals over a hundred times......
