13thfallenangelYeah, yeah, first day of Aidilfitri and everything; but fuck it...I had a shitty turn at work today and I'm going to bask in my crappy mood until I'm goddamn satisfied.
So, AJ's busy sticking her head outside the office, chattering her knickers off at 7am sharp whilst I have to juggle incoming calls and the 7am wake up calls of 4, read, 4 groups......and 2 of those have room numbers several inches long. I'm yelling for her to answer the phones repeatedly and I'm juggling this security guy's request to connect his call and I'm also connedting a waitress to the cashier....next thing I know, security guy comes up looking for a fight and demanding why the hell did I sigh into the phone when connecting his call? Oh, I dunno, because my colleagues are usually off having a good chatter or hanging off the phones, I have a printer chittering my wake up calls non stop for the next 10 minutes, and there's a Call Waiting 3 on my console screen? Oh, and you kept hanging up and the guy you're calling isn't going to pick up his handphone when he's off celebrating the first day of Aidilfitri with his family no matter how urgent that call is?
Whatever. Go ahead, threaten me with a complaint if you'll like and wave that walkie-talkie of yours threateningly. I'll just say I'm sorry and you can walk out of my office without the fight you're looking for. Just because my professional veneer slipped for a moment, doesn't mean I'm going to start a fight with you with my manager just next door delivering the morning briefing.....
