i miss Blaine...it's been ages since he last replied my e-mail...i wonder if he's been killed off in the 2nd Iraq war Bush Jr was so happy to continue on as his father's legacy....
i remember the first time i met this unique individual who is even more hyperactive than i am on my good day....which is not surprising since Blaine has bipolar....
lurking about on mIRC, instead of the usual banal 'hey babe', 'hi sexy', 'wanna cyber?' offers, he asked me, 'do you know why the sky is blue?'
being the utter geek that i am, i rambled an answer which included light refraction and the difference in density of the many layers of the athmosphere which causes the refraction and thus producing a blue colour..........he was amazaed at my answer and we started chatting then....
and then later he ended up sobbing all over me when he got a phonecall from his cheating gf and fought again.....poor guy....spent over an hour consoling him.....
then we started emailling each other for a couple of months, occasionally meeting up on IRC again....
but one day in June 2003, it stopped.
i emailed him some more but i got no replies.....
Blaine was wonderfully hyper and fun in his manic state....his low wasn't so bad i suppose.....*shrugs*
but i do know that i miss him.....i wonder if he's still alive...he told me that he was in the navy before....
